Acquisition of Long Lane Deliveries by Langdons, a STEF Group subsidiary

Langdons announces the acquisition of the transport and logistics company Long Lane Deliveries in Scotland. This transaction is part of STEF Group's growth strategy as a European pure player in the food supply chain. It strengthens the Group's territorial coverage and its service offering dedicated to food manufacturers, retailers, and out-of-home foodservice.

A family-run group established in 2002 and a long-standing partner to Langdons, Long Lane Deliveries specializes in the transport and logistics of chilled, frozen, and ambient food products in Scotland and throughout the UK. It employs 330 people and has a fleet of 140 vehicles. The company operates from 2 sites in Bellshill (near Glasgow) and Dundee. 

Part of STEF Group since 2022, Langdons is a specialist in the transport of temperature-controlled food products in the UK and a major player in import/export with continental Europe. The company employs 1,400 people and has a fleet of 750 vehicles at 8 sites, including 7 in England (Barnsley, Bridgwater, Dover, Luton, Redditch, Peterborough, and Liverpool) and 1 in Scotland (Motherwell). Each year, it handles almost 2.7 million pallets on behalf of 2,000 customers.
