This list provides a benchmark for the leading companies in the logistics industry and is based on independent research and input from companies, with a panel of independent experts assessing the innovations that contribute to the index score.

The index score is largely based on quantitative factors such as turnover in the Netherlands, number of permanent employees and available square meters of storage space in the Netherlands. The remaining part is determined by various innovation themes such as sustainable transport and storage, personnel and training, smart storage, supply chain management and digitalization.
